      Great system 3/3/2013

The touch sensitive buttons are cool, you don't even have to press. The power brick is much smaller, and leaves way more room. The xbox is much more quiet. 3 USB hookups is great . get ur family a game systom to hang out with together as 1 again. I would recommend this.

I've been dissappointed overall with the complications of using the kinect. I got it for my kid who is 8 and experienced at many gaming systems and the kinect has difficulty tracking him. Funny thing is that the high def camera located right next to the kinect has no difficulty tracking him plus me plus 2 pets running around when we use it for skype calling.

      Improved model 6/8/2012

This is an improved model of the original Xbox 360 system as it was shipped in 2006. The addition of the Kinect sensor system is obviously the biggest reason to get it. I didn't find the larger hard drive to be of much use though, which kind of jacks up the price.

      Great! 12/30/2011

The Wii uses micromechanical components, such as an accelerometer and gyroscope, and an infrared sensor. The PS3 Move uses an accelerometer, angular-rate sensor, and visual tracking of a LED-lit globe. While the Wii & PS3 Move use similar components, the PS3 has the advantage since its components have 3-axis of motion detection compared to 2-axis sensors in the Wii; also the PS3 has a stronger processor to calculate position and distance. Instead of relying on micromechanical components, the XBOX Kinect uses a video camera, an infrared camera, and a 4-microphones array, which together is capable of gesture, facial, and voice recognition for tracking up to 6 players. The PS3's disadvantage is that micromechanical components may wear & tear and cause inaccurate motion detection, while the Xbox's disadvantage is that more processing overhead is needed when analyzing video and sound to interpret the players' motion. While the PS3 is the obvious winner over the Wii, the success of the PS3 Move vs. the Xbox Kinect will depend on the game developers' ability to translate motion into actions. Overall, the Xbox Kinect has a slight advantage because the motion software can always be improved by Microsoft, whereas the PS3 controllers will most likely remain unchanged since hardware redesigns are always expensive to both the company and its users. Winner: Xbox Kinect. Summary: the Kinect wins all 3 comparisons, so the Xbox is a great buy!

      A Definitive Improvement 6/13/2011

This bundle is a decent deal if you're going to buy the Kinect at some point in the future anyway. The 250 GB console is the one you want since it has adequate storage (4GB isn't enough) and runs much cooler and quieter than previous models. It's a great deal now, and once the kinect actually has games worth playing on it it'll be an even better deal.

      Fun! 4/30/2011
      Bob D from Ringgold, GA

We bought this for Christmas and haven't had any problems. Hook up was easy and it blends right in with our decor with the Kinect sitting nicely on our dark glass TV stand in front of the base of our large Sony HDTV. This Xbox with Kinect is fun. It has a lot of nice features and works great. Yes, you do need a large room for it to work well which is not a problem for us. Our problem is the games are quite a workout and we're not in real good shape. Playing it for a short time more often would surely help to get us in shape. This Xbox with Kinect has a lot of fun and useful features. It's fun entertainment for guests too. We later bought a 4GB Xbox for the family room without Kinect and that is used much more often. We should be using the one with Kinect to shape up while having fun!

      Buyer Beware!!! 3/24/2011
      TNugent from Pinellas Park, Fl.

You need a pretty good size room to use this thing, Do not try to use it in a small room. You need to have 6 to 10 feet of open space in front of the TV. I don't and BUY.Com will not let me return it. I don't think I'll be shopping with them any longer.

Deffective - Going back to manufacturer 1/4/2011
      Stacy from NJ

You can imagine my children's dissapointment on Christmas day when we hooked this system up and it didn't work. After much trying and a call to the help line it was decided that the system needed to be sent back. Although the price was good, next time I buy something like this I will go to a retail store so I don't have to be hassled with shipping and waiting 2-3 weeks for a replacement. Thank God for the WII

      Outstanding! 11/29/2010
      Ken from Hudson, FL

This new evolution of the Xbox 360 is so well put together and polished. Even the packaging was beautifully done. I've enjoyed my old Xbox 360 for many years but the new design is fantastic. Very quiet, built in N wifi and great to look at. Kinect works and tracks amazingly. It almost feels like magic. Buyers should be aware that if you have a thin LED/LCD/Plasma TV you will need an optional bracket for wall or stand mounting of the Kinect sensor. Fortunately it sits perfectly atop my Samsung 50 DLP.

      Excellent! 11/10/2010
      Knux from Whiteman AFB, MO

I preordered this item with much anticipation. The condition and packaging of the product was perfect to ensure its safety through the mail. I booted everything up, and it was all so easy to set up. The Kinect's motions truly are 1:1 tracking. I don't notice any lag at all. The only annoyance I had were obtaining my preorder codes from It was a bit of a hassle with support, but I was able to get that resolved. Overall, the item is great, arrived quickly, and I am very satisfied.
